NovaUCD is Ireland’s leading innovation hub, with a strong reputation and a proven track record in assisting startups to grow and scale internationally. NovaUCD is currently home to over 80 high-tech startups at all stages of development. Over 400 companies and early-stage startups have been supported through NovaUCD. Between them, these companies currently support over 1,040 jobs directly, have an annual turnover in excess of €113 million and have raised over €775 million in equity funding.
NovaUCD has 2,225m² of licensable space and a wide range of flexible occupancy options are provided to entrepreneurs including co-working space, offices and labs (bio-incubation units). NovaUCD’s highly networked community of entrepreneurs provides an environment for promoters of new ventures to share their experiences to assist other start-ups to develop and grow. This innovative and entrepreneurial community along with the NovaUCD network creates invaluable support for client companies. There is a comprehensive programme of events, workshops and seminars provided by key influencers and experts from the startup ecosystem.

The team
The New Frontiers programme at IADT is delivered by Susanne L’Estrange in conjunction with colleagues from NovaUCD. Susanne has worked in both the public and private sector, with a strong track record in the multinational tech sector (UKI, EMEA, and global market). With a BA in Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Innovation & Digital Transformation, Susanne brings skills such as strategic thinking, leadership, effective collaboration, and communication to the role of Programme Manager.
